Bullying & It’s Effects On Mental Health

Hey guys me again!

This will be my second blog on here hope your all well today!

Today’s topic will be about bullying and how it can effect mental health,

Just lately I’ve seen a lot of negativity being passed about from social media platforms.

It’s a big category that people are found to use to victimise other people based on ther
. Age
. Sex
. Body image
. Mental health
. Sexual orientation
. Looks
. Beliefs
. Race

And it’s one-off the biggest category’s on social media to do!

Just lately I’ve seen far to much of it thrown about like its a in thing to do, people think that bullying someone just because they have different beliefs that they can just do it! No it’s not acceptable! I’ve seen a lot of it at the moment to do with mental health issues and sexual orientation,

Based on the mental health part I’ve seen people say people need to “man up” “grow up” and things aren’t as bad as your making it out to be. Nobody should be judged on there current mental health state nobody knows how it can effect them saying things such as named above, saying things like this can cause them to do things nobody should ever even have the thought to do! I’ve known people be told to “man up” for talking out right about how they feel and if anything it’s made them worse and close up and end up either taking there life or actually self harming, mental health isn’t something to be bullied about it should be supported as much as possible. Show people your there and you support them don’t give them reasons to shut off. Recently a very close friend of mine has. Even victimised in  there mental health situation and we need to make it a bigger thing talking about it! If you know someone is struggling! Support them and help them! Nobody deserves hate!

My other category I’ve noticed a lot of hate and bullying over is people’s sexual orientation. I don’t understand how in 2019 people can still give people hate and abuse over what they want from life?
If someone is gay straight bisexual pansexual lesibian why should they be be bullied for who they love? And what they want from life? As a straight man I don’t see any problem with it at all, I have friends who are gay lesbian and bisexual and to be honest it doesn’t phase me at all there still my friends and always will be, it doesn’t make them any less of a human then anyone else, end of the day love is love. I’m bringing this topic up as I’ve seen one of my closest friends was told because he is gay he ian ugly and shouldn’t have kids. This is unacceptable behaviour! There still human! And give as much love as anyone else!
The way it effects people’s mental health is because your downgrading then and making them feel worthless they end up self harming and even killing themselves! The stigma needs to end!
Please think about your actions and words before saying things it can effect people more then your ever know!

Thank you for taking time to read this and listen!
