Living With Family And Alzheimer’s & Dementia

Hey guys!

Welcome back to my blog page! Just want to say a massive thank you for all taking time to read my blogs honestly means so much to me people are taking time out to read it and support my page.

This blog post has a big effect on me, I also know a close friend who has gone through the same, but also do do many other family’s .

It’s about living with a family member and Alzheimer’s and dementia.

As I’ve grown up as a small boy to a young man I’ve learnt so much in this world but one thing I will never get y head round or feelings is this Horrid disease, growing up from a small boy with my grandad ( pops ) to knowing him as a very hard working man to a man who cannot live there life as the person they was to not having control over his body honestly is the worst feeling in the world;

As a kid growing up with my siblings and family members ie cousins brother and sisters we all used to do so much as a family and pops used to take us for a kick about in the local park and take us for day trips too to now being In a care home having his family look after him and careers isn’t how or what anyone would ever dream could happen to them!

Alzheimer’s and dementia are one of the worst things to even have let alone see someone you care about so much go through, visiting him in a home couldn’t get any harder if it tried, knowing her doesn’t really understand what’s going on who he is where he is and who we are is so painful, but also trying to understand what he’s going through is hard because the world he lives in now is so different and lonely compared to our world.
We can feel lonely here in this world but in there world it’s so much different to our lonely,

But one this is for sure the love and memories you have for that person will never change or go away!
Never let the memories fold or go! Because one day all you will have is memories!

Treasure them keep them relive them! Never let family and memories go!

If your family is going through this I’m really sorry for this honestly it’s so cruel but please make sure you make memories if you can And treasure them 💙
Prayers and thoughts go out to people fighting this horrible disease and prayers and thoughts go to the family’s s going through it all too 💙

Thank you for reading this blog
